Research:

Mariam has done research during her undergraduate studies: “Architectural Analysis of Road Junctions based on Social, Economic and Environmental Aspects, the Case of Dar es Salaam- Downtown Area”.  Her dissertation research work worn several prizes and has an input into the New Dar es Salaam City Master Plan (2016-2036), the National project she participated in its preparation and specifically setting Guidelines to Urban Shapers on how to plan and design buildings at the road junctions.

Projects:

Mariam has been engaged in several projects such as:

• New Dar es Salaam City Master Plan (2016-2036).
• Ngorongoro One stop Tourism/Investment Centre for Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) in Arusha City.
• Faculty Extension FCM –Phase III at University of Dar es Salaam.
• Design of test house at Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) headquarters.
